I have actually read a great deal of reviews right here about how good (many of the reviews say) and how bad this item (allegedly) is, and based upon the favorable, I bought one. Glad I did too! It's had to do with 5 weeks. I have advised this item to several family members. I have actually wanted a title for a very long time. I was delighted by the testimonials.

Great driveway stick for the money
My son and I use these to play hockey on our driveway. The old sticks we were using had a straight blade so you couldn't grip the puck easily for shooting. These on the other hand are molded for lefties or righties so they feel much better when playing. I use the 53" version (I'm 5'9") and he uses the 43" version (He's 4'1"). There's a little extra length in the shaft so it should last for a few years before he outgrows it or it wears out. The plastic material used for the blade seems very durable and like it will last a long time. The wooden shaft too seems well made and durable. If you are looking for an inexpensive option to play street hockey, these are great.

Hockey stick
Great stick for street hockey... I played with Mylec airflows when I was 12-18yrs old (back in 1976-1982), they were great then too. I still have some of the sticks from back then and still use them with my kids. Back then they lasted longer, but this was a good buy and was fun to see that they still exist after all these years!

Too short, not good in warm weather
I was pretty disappointed in this stick. The blade turns to rubber when it's hot outside, so don't expect to use this for street hockey during the summertime. Also, the blade was pretty loosely secured to the shaft. Finally, I'm 6'2", and I found this stick to be about 2" too short for me. I'm hanging on to it for when winter comes around, but I doubt I'll like it much better then.
