Totally what I expected! This is great for any hockey fan. You can choose your teams home horn sound, it has an audio jack to connect to the speakers, and all the mounting hardware if you care to do so.
With our Blackhawks doing as amazing as they are, I've already had to change the batteries!!!
Side note: My dog ended up eating the puck remote... I was devastated! I emailed the wonderful people at Fan Fever, and they replaced it for free, no questions asked! Their customer service is the best I've experienced in quite a long time!
Very authentic goal sounds! Remote is a little finicky
I'm really torn between rating this 4 or 5 stars. I absolutely love this goal light. I feel the price is a little high ($40 when I purchased it), but considering what it does, I can live with it. I love watching the St. Louis Blues. I was skeptical about how close the sound would come to the Blues goal horn at the arena. It is a perfect match! I was really impressed. People who have seen it think it is awesome, too.
The goal light features authenticate sounds for all arenas. Obviously, I don't know what the horns sound like in all of the arenas so I don't know how "authenticate" they will all be. However, I did check out the despised Blackhawks, and theirs is spot on, too. I set the goal light near the TV, but it could also be mounted to the wall with the mounting bracket (think man-cave).

Great gift for any hockey fan..good quality and lots of fun! My grandson enjoys changing the horn sound for each NHLteam.
