Our little goalie loves this set!
This gear is well made and perfect for indoor play or if you're just passing a soft ball around outside. The pads are soft and flexible, so it's easy for the little ones to move around and feel like a "real" goalie. The mask is very nice and easy to adjust for a pretty wide range of ages/sizes. My six yr. old and 11 yr. old are both able to wear it. The mask, glove and blocker will probably fit your child longer than the leg pads, but the leg pads are probably the first thing cast aside when you're in a tough knee hockey battle anyway!
We were not offered a choice of color and received blue, white and black gear. This isn't a problem, just something you might want to make your child aware of if the color is important to them.

My 5 year old loves these pads. Every night we play a game. They do slip around on his legs but he does not mind, he just keeps adjusting them. I have tried to tighten the straps with a safety pin - I may try to stitch them to tighten them up. And the corner of a leg pad is starting to fray already - we have only had them for a couple of weeks. But the mask fits great, it does not slip around, and the gloves are cool. I think they were a great value - he adores them, we have a great time and the price was very fair. If something rips, I will buy another set in a heartbeat.

My grandson loves this goalie equipment and uses it every day after school. Very appropriate for children under 9 or 10. Fits great and mask is very realistic.
