This was an excellent acquisition, specifically for the price. I prepared to drop twice the quantity of money on this product. This product is a life saver, it not only holds my mouth guard, dripping with saliva, it has a handy-dandy Carabiner so that I can clip it to a belt loop to impress the ladies. That's right I play a contact sport and care enough about my dental work to ensure a beautiful smile!

I suppose that in a pinch the Carabiner could be used to help you repel from a tall building too - though I, personally, wouldn't try it.

I upgraded to the Shock doctor case from a ziploc bag so I couldn't be happier. I just wanted something that would keep my mouth guard from getting lost in my bag and this definitely gets the job done.

I don't have the problem of the other review of the case randomly opening. It is pretty sturdy for me.

The carabiner is a nice touch.

Don't know if it is provides actually bacterial protection, but again, its got to be better than a plastic bag.

Fits my non-shock doctor mouth guard nicely.

weak hinge
I don't if the hinge actually broke or it's just a weak design, but the top and bottom will not stay connected when open. The Under Armor cases they sell at Sports Authority are much cheaper and better.
