Well, after doing a lot of research and reading the testimonials right here and in other places, I decided to buy Mylec Pro Style Mini Hockey Goal Set, White. Though I 'd have preferred a much better guarantee, I chose the functions were appealing enough to attempt it. It is a lot of cash to get rid of if it falls short just after the warranty. I am absolutely in love with this product. It is high quality product, clever features. I simply got it today, and I will upgrade my testimonial later on if needed.

Just what we were looking for
This was bought for a four year old who LOVES sports, especially hockey. He has been pretending that plastic golf clubs were hockey sticks and our couch was the goal. This is the perfect size for a little kid, especially something that can be used in house. The sticks are perfect for his size too, but for an adult you do have to bend over a little bit if you're playing standing up. I highly recommend this to everyone. For only 20 bucks at Dick's Sporting Goods it was one of the best Christmas gifts purchased this year.
Mylec Mini Hockey Set
Great little hockey set. Was shipped very quickly in a plain white box. Item as described. It is meant to be played as 'knee' floor hockey. It was purchased as a gift for a 7 year old. My teenage son has had a set like this since he was around age 7 and now 10 years later he and his buddies still have fun playing with it!
excellent for a toddler
I bought this for a toddler and he loves it. The net is used indoors, it is small enough to to fit indoors, but still big enough to use. The sticks are a bit on the small side though, even for a toddler. Older children might like the net and ball, but the sticks will be useless. The ball is very good for indoors, it is soft material (foam?), but very firm. The net was very easy to put together, it took less than 5 minutes. The one thing i really don't like is that sticks are pre-shaped one for a lefty and one for a righty - i would rather them not shaped at all so it can be used by both lefty and righty.
For me, the package came in a cardboard box inside a regular cardboard shipping box, not different than any other product I would purchase.
