I did have some concerns after reviewing a few of the previous reviews prior to buying the unit. After using the unit now for some time I can state I've had absolutely no issues and the unit has carried out remarkable. We simply bought this Bauer 9900 Combo Hockey Helmet with Cage 2010, using the discount and the cost-free shipping. If you are looking for a Bauer 9900 Combo Hockey Helmet with Cage 2010, so i highly advised this hot item to you. I bought this item at a price that offers in United States of America.
Great helmet!
Couldn't be happier with this helmet! Read some reviews that said it was tight at the temples but I have no problem with that. I like the low profile wires on the cage.
Chin strap broke almost the first game...but a very nice helmet
I have 10 years of beer league hockey experience so I am not an expert. But this helmet is vastly more expensive than my previous helmet and vastly better quality.
Pros-
Adjustable fit - I should have gotten the larger helmet but the fit stretches enough for it to work.
Padding - is nice for comfortable fit. My last helmet gave me a headache after 2 hours skating. Not a problem with this one.
Appearance - It's a helmet so it doesn't matter much...but I like that I can stand out from everyone else with the 2 color options (in case the family comes to watch a game).
Cons-
The chin strap broke on my first game. This can be fixed but with 3 points to strap it on, I'm down to 2 and it works for now.
I decided the helmet is probably the most important piece of gear so I spent the money for the added protection. If you can afford it, I would recommend this product.
