Not many frills with this helmet; it's a pretty standard weight and feel with a standard amount of padding on the inside. If you're looking for, say, a second helmet in a different color to match your bitchin new jersey, this would be a good candidate. One thing to watch out for is that these run small compared to CCM; I'm a large in a CCM helmet, and I had to get an x-large in Easton for it to fit.
